Went hiking with my friend Karinna through Griffith Park up to the Observatory. I also found photos in Prescott Arizona taken a couple months back, including a group/family shot :)

Arlene and I went to Chicago for Doug and Courtney's wedding. I had never been to Chicago so we spent some time touring around.

Skipped the normal holiday festivities and drove up the coast with my friend Arlene. We drove one way from San Diego to Seattle, slowly hitting every coastal town on the way.
Traveled to Budapest after Paris - excellent food and Hungarian is an amazingly difficult language! Met some great people while we were there :)

I'm not a big fan of Vegas, but Amber is turning 21... the day AFTER I leave! Yeah, I just went to Vegas with a 20 year old. Next time Amber, I'm getting you a lap dance, but not on the skank shift!
Hung out with Stacia and Riley in Oak Harbor, Washington. Got away from my day to day life and was met with welcome hospitality!
Took a break from cleaning and wandered my neighborhood taking pictures. Magic hour (aka golden hour) is the first and last hour of sunlight during the day.
Dee and I went to Sedona Arizona to spend Christmas with my family - hiked around a bit - hippies and red rocks! There's also some pictures of a British Garden Spider that made a web in our doorway.
Portland and Eugene and there's even some pictures of Frysinger and his insane collection of blank keys (although that's from SF last week)...
Dee and I drove up to San Francisco for the weekend to visit some friends. We toured around Google and Yahoo, later into Palo Alto and eventually up to Napa.
Spent a few nights in Hong Kong on our way back home, travelled all around Hong Kong island and a bit in the new territories.
Since I had so many pictures of the trip, I separated out Christmas and New Years Eve photos from the rest...
Spent three weeks of much needed vacation in the Philippines; visited with Dee's relatives, travelled about, took lots of cool pictures...
Dee and I alternate Thanksgivings and Christmas between our families, and this year was Thanksgiving in Arizona visiting my family. While we were basking amidst the holiday festivities, we decided to go out and see the desert with a nice hike. We explored Piestawa Peak by Dreamy Draw...
Went to Troy, NY (near Albany) for the NEES/UCDavis/RPI Centrifuge Workshop. Learned how to use the RPI centrifuge for earthquake engineering research, and all about data acquisition and sensors (LVDTs, strain gauges, pore water pressure sensors, etc).
This is Dee, hijacking Tim's photo system: Went over to Kamal's Halloween party. Daniel Frysinger had a little too much to drink, liberated an axe, and mugged with the stupid thing all night. Check out Tom's awesome Geico caveman costume!
I hate moving. The only thing that made this move worthwhile is that we moved to Solana Beach right next to the beach! There's also some pictures from a recent trip to San Francisco for the Web 2.0 conference.
I stayed home and worked over Labor Day, it is "Labor" day afterall! Dee went to San Francisco to visit her family for Kaye's son's birthday, and left me all by my lonesome. :(
Ignoring how old I am, Dee and I went to Florida with my brother and Tammy where we met up with my Dad, sister and her friend. An interesting adventure as I got to meet the sister I've never met!
Travelled to Buffalo, NY for a site visit to the Buffalo NEES equipment site. Very impressive facility with two relocatable shake tables each with six-degrees of freedom. Before leaving we stopped in Niagra Falls for lunch. Oh and it was very, very cold!
Travelled to Cambridge to help with an SRB workshop held by NIEeS. Spent a day in London making up for the photos lost a couple years ago when my camera was stolen :(
Dee and I drove out to Phoenix to spend Christmas with my family. We went up to Sedona for a day and got a lot of nice pictures.
Went to Boston for work, the BIRN All Hands Meeting, spent some time touring the city as well as meeting with other BIRN partcipants.
No matter how weird you think you are - you'll fit right in at the Comicon. Light sabre's, spandex, fur, borgs, Leia without underwear - this is a place where goths are safe, and Klingons mingle with Zelda. Oh, and Ray Bradbury - by the way - perfect gentleman!
Drove up to Hayward for Kyla's birthday, got some great pictures in and around San Francisco as well as Napa Valley.
It was hot, humid, bug-biting fun in the Philippines, I got some great pictures mostly around Subic and Olongapo. Finally got to put faces to names with Dee's family, and of course lots of tsismis!
They finally tied the knot! It was a beautiful wedding, we had a great time, and I finally got to meet many of the relatives I had been hearing so much about.
My parents came to visit for the holidays, went to Sea World, Point Loma and saw the sites around San Diego.
Dee and I went to Phoenix for Thanksgiving and stayed the weekend enjoying the sites (for what Phoenix has to offer anyhow).
Moved into my new place in Del Mar, it is right by the beach which I love!
Went to Italy with Maria to visit Grace and Peter, stayed in Gaeta, walked and walked all over, took many many pictures!
My good friend Rob got married, so I drove out to Phoenix for the weekend (in my swank new Civic) to be there for the wedding. Visited my parents and took lots of pictures!

2003 New Years, made resolutions to study Budhhism, eat more and drink more. Got the latter resolution started that night!
Spent Christmas with my family in Phoenix, visited friends and did the usual holidy festivities.
Spent the day in Balboa Park, watched Tyler's chess tournament, and got lots of pictures.
Drove out to Vandenberg Air Force base to work on a field station for the Harvest buoy. Stayed in Lompoc, these pictures were taken on the drive from Lompoc to the base.
We threw a surprise birthday party for my roommate Aubrey, lots of alcohol, I was drunk.
